Orthodontic treatment fees are based on each individual situation, keeping in mind case complexity and anticipated treatment. We offer in office financing plans that will allow you to pay over a period of time with no interest. These are usually structured as a down payment followed by equal monthly payments for the remainder amount. Please note that the financial plan is not related to the frequency of visits during treatment or the total number of visits. It only serves as a way to make payment of the treatment fee more gradual, which is desirable to most patients.
We offer a book-keeping credit for payment in full at the start of treatment if you opt to do so, as well as sibling/family credits, when more than one family member gets treatment.
For your convenience we accept payments by cash, check and all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express). Credit card agreements can be set up to streamline the payments if you desire.
Orthodontic Insurance
Our office will help you determine your Orthodontic benefits, which are usually separate from the dental benefits. Most Orthodontic insurance plans provide a lifetime maximum allowable benefit per covered individual, which is non-transferable, and may have age restrictions or other conditions in place. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.
As a courtesy to our patients, we offer to bill the insurance directly (unless the insurance does not permit it), and the amount expected from the insurance is deducted from the total fee before setting up the financial plan. However, if the insurance does not pay the expected amount, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges. We request that you update us at the earliest of any changes in your insurance coverage so that the billing to the insurance carrier is done accurately.
